Our aim is to provide you with all the latest information that will help you make decisions about your future career and your life beyond school.

You can use this site to locate University, TAFE and any other type of course across Australia, get information about the IB and VCE, search for job vacancies and much more. Feel free to drop into the Careers Office if you have any questions.

Victorian Careers Show

This event will be very similar to the VCE and Careers Expo, with exhibitors from universities, TAFEs and private providers. Study skills and resources for senior students and how to maximise success in your final years of schooling and plan for a range of post-school options.

Registrations for UCAT ANZ close on 17 May

If you are intending to apply for medical degrees for 2022 you will need to sit the UCAT.

Registrations for the University Clinical Aptitude Test Australia/New Zealand (UCAT ANZ) are now open. You must register and book their test by 11.59pm AEST Friday 17 May.

LaTrobe University - ASPIRE - Early offer program

The early offer program for LaTrobe University is now open for applications. This program offers early offers for 2022 study and scholarships to students who have a broad range of school and community experiences and are able to demonstrate a range of personal attributes such as leadership, initiative and resilience.

University Events Term 2 & 3

Many of the universities and institutions run information sessions, either on-campus or on-line, over the next few months.

They will focus on courses available, career outcomes, majors and specializations and campus facilities.

An outline of some of the activities can be found on the EVENTS pages of this site, but be sure to follow your preferred institutions on social media to receive updates of their events for future students.

GW - Courses & Careers Presentations - Term 2

During Term 2 we will be delivering a range of Course and Careers Presentations at lunchtimes.  Students from Years 10 - 12 are strongly encouraged to attend these sessions. The full program and registration details HERE.

Australian National University - ANU Applications Open

The Application Portal for 2022 entry to ANU is now open. You apply for courses, accommodation and scholarships via a single direct application and they will consider your co-curricular and service participation in addition to your ATAR.

Please consult their admissions pages for more details and a series of upcoming Webinars will allow you to explore the course, accommodation and scholarship options and how to navigate the application process.

The extremely lucrative Tuckwell Scholarships can also be applied for as part of the process.

You must speak with your Careers Counsellor if you are intending to apply to ANU as they will need to support you through the process.

SATs for Applications to US Colleges

If you are interested in applying to study in the USA, then you will need to sit an SAT.  These tests are only held a few times each year and have limited places available so you need to register early.  You are advised to take one SAT when you are in Year 11 and you can take another later if you want to. Consult the College Board website for dates, locations and registration details. If you are intending to apply to the US then you need to speak to your Careers Counsellor as soon as possible.
